LV-Beschreibung
Intendierte Lernergebnisse
The aim of this course is to familiarise students with the major developments in British theatre (and society) that gave way to the evolution of the late 20th century feminist theatre . Selected major plays representative of these developments (e.g. Votes for Women!) will be discussed in detail, with focus on character analysis and themes, within their social and political context. At the end of the course, students will have developed an understanding of the so-called “suffrage theatre” and “feminist theatre” , along with their social and political background.
Lehrmethodik inkl. Einsatz von eLearning-Tools
The course will be conducted through lectures and class discussions. Active student participation in class discussions will be expected.
