Intended learning outcomes

Introduction to macroeconomics.

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

Every unit will consist of a theoretical (lecture) part and a practical part where students will be required to present the solution to pre-assigned exercises.

The IS-LM model
The IS-LM model in an open economy
Output, the interest and the exchange rate

The Phillips curve and the natural rate of unemployment and inflation

Final examination (in English) (50 %).
Preparation of weekly assignments for the practical part (40%).
Positive assessment of the participation in the discussions (10 %).
