Every unit will consist of a theoretical (lecture) part and a practical part where students will be required to present the solution to pre-assigned exercises.

- Oral examination (in English) (50 %). Individual appointments can be made with my secretary, Ms. Christina Kopetzky, after the end of the course.
- Preparation of weekly assignments for the practical part (40%).
- Positive assessment of the participation in the discussions (10 %).
- Regular attendance.
Prüfungsinhalt/e
Note on the participation in the discussions: Questions for a better understanding of the presentations and the text can be asked anytime. Only successful and positive contributions to the discussion will be assessed.
Note on the preparation: Reading the respective chapters in the textbook prior to the lessons is strongly recommended. We recommend you use the homepage related to the textbook and the literature and links indicated there and in the book.
