Principles of Microeconomics (Chapter 1) Supply and demand; elasticities (Chapter 2) Consumer behavior (Chapter 3) Individual demand and market demand (Chapter 4) Production (Chapter 6) Production costs (Chapter 7) Profit maximization and competitive supply (Chapter 8) Analysis of competitive markets (Chapter 9) Market power - Monopoly (Chapter 10) Monopolistic competition & Oligopoly (Chapter 12) Game Theory (Chapter 13) It is obligatory to read the relevant chapter in advance to each session.

Examination information
Examination methodology
Both course parts are evaluated separately. For passing the course, both, the theoretical part (Multiple Choice exam, consisting of 20 questions, each 4 credits; 80 credits total) as well as the practical part (elaboration and presentation of exercises with a total of 40 credits) need to be passed.
In case of failing, the course (lecture and practical part) must be attended in another semester. (This is required by law).
