Intended learning outcomes

On completing the course, students should have

improved their oral language skills in terms of clarity of speech, eloquence, delivery, vocabulary, and structures
mastered discussion strategies
acquired an understanding of question typologies and basic interview techniques

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

Lecture, group and pair work, lots of individual work

Course content

The course is targeted at students at an advanced stage of the BA programmes. It focuses on speaking skills in discussions and presentations, going beyond the level of Language Productive and Receptive Skills (or equivalent) in terms of depth and sophistication.

Admission:

Admission is carried out at the first class meeting.

Students need to have passed Language Productive and Receptive Skills (or equivalent) and Pronunciation.
