Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools
Epistemic Approach AND Meeting of Expats, Impats and their partners at the CIC Networking Session. Dates will be given.Course content
The course will provide a cosmopolitical view to the daily life in global operating industrial companies in Carinthia and examine how intercultural/transcultural aspects are handled within diversity management in those companies. Expats, Impats and their situation after relocation will be discussed. For companies cultural diversity is crucial as heterogeneous teams are the normality. Participants will learn about the implementation of intercultural tools in diversity management in companies and are expected to understand the differences of transcultural, intercultural, pluralicultural and multicultural approaches. Locomotion records and biographies will give an insight into the situation of Expats and Impats. Group discussion will focus on the advantages of intercultural competences.Topics
