Inhalt/e

Bei dieser LV sollen die Studierenden im Rahmen eines Gruppen-Projektes lernen, wie man eine verteilte Anwendung erstellt, welche Aspekte man berücksichtigen muss und welche verteilten Algorithmen dabei zum Einsatz kommen können.

Inhalt/e

In this Lecture students will work in individual and group projects where they will learn: -How to set up distributed systems. -With which aspects of a distributed system to be careful. -Which distributed algorithms become handy to solve which problems.

Lehrziel

With completion of this course students should be able to: -Understand important concepts and mechanisms of distributed systems. -Design and implement several building blocks of distributed systems and be able to reason about their design decisions.

Erwartete Vorkenntnisse

Good Java programming skills. Introductory courses on operating systems and network programming
