Inhalt/e

In this course we learn about US standard of Human Resource Management activities to analyze the comparables in China and Europe. The HR activities include strategic planning, job analysis, recruitment and selection as well as other activities. The course objectives are to equip students with knowledge about human resource management theories and practices; to introduce students to human resource management applications that could be used by international managers in China and Europe; and to provide students with information useful in managing their own international careers. Teams of students conduct an analysis of a case study and present the results in class as well as in a written paper. Students prepare their own career plan.
