Lehrmethodik inkl. Einsatz von eLearning-Tools

The teacher's aim is to create a supportive atmosphere where students feel able to take risks and have fun with spoken English, so that they learn easily and improve quickly. Mistakes in word choice, grammar or pronunciation will be corrected gently but clearly, so that students acquire greater precision, accuracy and confidence.

Inhalt/e

In a relaxed environment and through a variety of activities, students will be encouraged to speak with greater confidence and accuracy in a number of situations.

Themen

Getting to know each other through questioning and swapping of surprising information
Discussing the results of a character quiz
Being a newsreader for 5 minutes - delivering information using appropriate stress, intonation, and enunciation
Practising for the oral part of the Fachprüfung: giving opinions and interacting with a partner
On-the-spot group presentations on agreed topics
Reading a short play with the emphasis on pronunciation, stress and intonation
Creating spoken commentary for TV news items
Pub quiz in teams - from question preparation to live battle!
High-speed information exchange in pairs

Lehrziel

The aim of this course is that students develop the confidence and ability to produce natural-sounding English as spontaneously as possible.
