Intended learning outcomes
To develop an awareness of the prerequisites for fairness in language testing
Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools
lecture, group work (test construction team), piloting tests in real life contexts, hands-on test analysis and interpretation of the results

Assessment criteria / Standards of assessment for examinations
- regular attendance and active participation
- developing 5 test items and engage in a peer-review process in the test development group
- create a useable 20 to 25-item test in the test development group
- pilot the test
- present select results of analysis of test data in oral group presentation
- reach the pass score on an online exam about the main theoretical concepts
- complete a pre-structured research report documenting the process of test development
In order to obtain a pass grade, you need to fulfil the above requirements to a satisfactory degree and you must pass the online exam. Course grades above pass will be awarded on the basis of your performance on the online exam.
