This research seminar is offered ONLY for students of the IM and MCM programmes (in advanced semesters) as a scientific accompaniment to the master thesis, which will be written at the University of Klagenfurt. It is NOT suitable for Erasmus students.
Please note: Since the capacity of the course is already exceeded, the registration for the course is closed.
Update: Due to the teacher's extended sick leave, the class on March 11 is canceled.

Intended learning outcomes
After completing the seminar, students should achieve the following goals (abilities):
[G1] a better understanding of topics addressed in the field of IME
[G2] a better understanding of research methods in the field of IME
[G3] knowledge of how to design and write a scientific paper (such as a master's thesis) and of how to make literature search
[G4] ability to write an exposé for the master thesis
Teaching methodology
Presentation and discussion of selected papers from the field of IME for the purpose of familiarization with the discipline --> [G1] [G2]
Training - "Introduction to scientific writing" for the purpose of conceptualizing and writing an exposé and (subsequently) a master thesis --> [G3] [G4]
Writing an exposé for the master thesis, which is supervised at University of Klagenfurt --> [G4]
Course content
Subject-related topics - Analysis of the selected research articles in the field of innovation management and entrepreneurship
Research methods in IME - Overview of scientific research methods in the discipline addressed
Fundamentals of scientific writing - Introduction to scientific writing (e.g. structuring the paper, citation guidelines)
Prior knowledge expected
Basic knowledge (=completed courses) in entrepreneurship and innovation management!
For students of 'International Management' (especially those who have not had any courses in entrepreneurship and innovation so far), it is recommended to take this research seminar only in the second semester!
