Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

  • Learning on embedded systems and internet-of-things applications and challenges
  • Get introduced to literature research
  • Improve presentation and writing skills

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

  • The student will be given an assignment/small project on one of the topics.
  • The project can be about  analysis/simulation or programming or prototyping.  

Course content

  • Selected topic in the domain of communication systems: algorithms, protocols, 5G, massime MIMO, localization, power line communications. 
  • Selected topics in IoT: smart homes, smart grids, smart cars, UAVs.
  • Selected topics on applied machine learning.
  • Selected topic is machine learning methods and models
