Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

  • Understand the principles and practices of action research and how it applies to practices in schools. Universities and teacher education
  • Understand the nature of curriculum and how this relates to action research.
  • Apppreciate the requirments for a curriculum for sustainable development.
  • Understand curricula relates to action research, and how and why this is important for sustainable development.
  • Understand the importance of social networks, and social movements, in creating education for sustainable development.

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

  • Mixture of online and face to face classes.
  • Mixutre of lectures, seminars, workshops and work completed by students between sessions.
