Inhalt/e
Organizational communication is broadly defined as communications and interactions among employees or members of an organization. This includes:
- The formal communication efforts of the organization (planned products and services typically produced by communication professionals, e.g., newsletters, Intranets and prepared executive videos);
- group communications that occur within, among and across work teams and units;
- leader and supervisor verbal communications and behaviors as well as
- communication with the outside world (stakeholders, society, etc.).
In German speaking countries, advertising is seen an integral part of strategic organizational communication. Directed towards the market and with the intention of selling products, advertising has become multi-faceted in the digital age.
Amongst the wide array of topics available, the present lecture will focus on the following aspects of organizational communication and advertising:
