Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

This course introduces students in the teacher education programme for English as a foreign language (EFL) to the European Portfolio for Student Teachers of Language (EPOSTL) and guides them through close-to-life problem scenarios with topics related to the curriculum. The focus is on the extension of subject-related methodological skills and on fostering a culture of reflection. The course offers opportunities to discuss problems concerning EFL teaching and reflect on the students’ own teaching skills.

The first two class meetings will be held on campus. The rest of the meetings will probably be held online via Big Blue Button. Any changes will be announced in class beforehand.
