The Department of Marketing and International Management offers two research seminars:
602.425 Seminar zur Masterarbeit aus Marketing (MIM) I: research seminar MIM I
602.426 Seminar zur Masterarbeit aus Marketing (MIM) II: research seminar MIM II
Students who are interested in writing their master thesis in marketing or just have started can attend the first seminar (602.425 Seminar zur Masterarbeit aus Marketing (MIM) I: research seminar MIM I). They analyze and discuss selected examples of pieces of research that have been successfully published in leading journals in marketing and consumer behavior.
When students have completed about two thirds of their master thesis they should attend the second seminar and present and discuss their own master theses (602.426 Seminar zur Masterarbeit aus Marketing (MIM) II: research seminar MIM II).

Presentations of students’ master thesis (80 % of grade)
Students will present their master theses in class (20 minutes + discussion) two times:
- Monday, October 18, 2021
- Tuesday, January 18, 2022
Class participation and active discussion (20% of grade)

The quality of presentations (oral and written form) as well as active participation in the discussion of the presentations conztibutes to the grade.
