Intended learning outcomes
Vermittlung von Kenntnissen über relevante grundlegende quantitative Methoden. Eigenes Vertiefen der Methodenkenntnisse an praktischen Beispielen (kleines Marktforschungsprojekt, das mit SPSS ausgewertet wird). Vermittlung von Grundkenntnissen in SPSS.
Teaching methodology
Kombination aus theoretischer Einführung und praktischem Anwendungsteil (Anwendung von SPSS).
Course content
Einführung in die grundlegenden quantitativen Methoden - theoretische Einführung und praktische Anwendung mittels eines empirischen Projektes.

- Grundlagen der empirischen Forschung
- Vorstellung der grundlegenden quantitativen Methoden
- Konzeption und Durchführung eines eigenen Marktforschungsprojektes
- Fragebogenkonzeption

- Datenauswertung mittels adäquater quantitativer Methoden und SPSS
- Vermittlung von grundlegenden Kenntnissen in SPSS

Intended learning outcomes
Promotion of knowledge of relevant basic quantitative methods. Deepening of methodological knowledge based on practical examples (small market research project, to be analyzed with SPSS and AMOS). Introduction to the statistics programs SPSS and AMOS.

Combination of theoretical introduction and practical part (application of SPSS).

Examination topic(s)
You can choose to present the empirical part of your doctoral thesis with a focus on quantitative methods or you can present a quantitative method of your choice in more detail.
