Course Information
Intended learning outcomes
The seminar is structured as a workinggroup seminar. The nature of the seminar will foster the knowledge of PhD students in their topics, techniques and methods, it will also help to increase skills to present and to defend research and it will help to learn through problems and strengths of other presentations for the benefit of the own research projects.
Teaching methodology
The seminar addresses PhD students in the working area of the structured doctoral program Modelling, Simulation, and Optimization in Business and Economics. Students are requested to present their research design, research progress, research methods and research difficulties by presenting is to other PhD students and to the teaching staff members.
Central task of this teaching unit is discussion, coaching and supervision of ongoing PhD projects.
