Intendierte Lernergebnisse
Verständnis von Produktentwicklung - von der Idee zum Prototypen.
Studierende nehmen die Rolle des Produktentwicklers/der Produktentwicklerin ein.

Vorträge / Exkursion / Tutorium für Design und Druck der Projektidee.

Inhalt/e
In der LV lernen die Studierenden den Prozess der Produktentwicklung und Prototypenerstellung von der Ideengenerierung bis hin zur Fertigung eines Prototypen kennen. Dabei erwerben sie zentrale Kompetenzen zur Selektion geeigneter Prozesse, Verfahren und Materialien. Weiter werden die Präsentationsfähigkeiten der TeilnehmerInnen geschult. Im Rahmen der LV wird ein Produkt designed, ein Prototyp entwickelt und das finale Produkt gedruckt. Um die TeilnehmerInnen hierbei bestmöglich zu unterstützen, wird ein die LV begleitendes Tutorium (LV-Nummer 602.976) angeboten, in dem die oben angeführten Schritte ausführlich behandelt werden.
Die für den Abschluss erforderliche Aufgabenstellung kann im Rahmen des Tutoriums umgesetzt werden. Die Kombination von Kurs und Tutorium (LV-Nummer 602.976) wird empfohlen.
Der Kurs ist in Kombination mit dem Tutorium auch für Studierende ohne technischen Hintergrund geeignet, da der Fokus auf Innovationsprozesse und Produktentwicklung liegt.

Prüfungsinhalt/e
Prozessschritte der Produkt- bzw. Prototypenentwicklung
Beurteilungskriterien/-maßstäbe
Zentrales Beurteilungskritierium ist das Video, in dem der Prototyp vorgestellt wird. Die Länge sollte max. 3 Minuten betragen. Inhalte des Videos: - ursprüngliches Problem (Ausgangspunkt der Idee) - Vorstellung der verschiedenen Lösungsansätze/Begründung für die gewählte Lösung - Herausforderungen bei der Umsetzung/Erstellung der Lösung (z.B. mit 3D-Druck Verfahren) - Methoden und Ansätze zur Bewähltigung der Herausforderungen in der Erstellung - Vorstellung des fertigen Produkts. |
