Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

The lecture intends to create a basic understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship in different organizations. The goal is to convey the elementary importance of entrepreneurial orientation. Furthermore, a basic understanding of the importance of digitalization in entrepreneurship is conveyed.

Course content

This lecture has the character of an introductory course in the topics Corporate Entrepreneurship and Digitalization.

In the context of Corporate Entrepreneurship, the importance of entrepreneurial orientation for the identification, evaluation and utilization of entrepreneurial opportunities is discussed.

Fundamental concepts and models are presented in the context of digitization. Subsequently, these will be discussed in terms of their potential for entrepreneurship in general and corporate entrepreneurship in particular.
