Intended learning outcomes

Die Praxistätigkeit bzw. das Praktikum sind nicht nur ein Studienbestandteil, sondern tragen auch zur späteren Berufswahl und zukünftigen Karriere bei. Dienstleistungsaspekte finden sich in nahezu allen Firmen. Sie sind also sehr flexibel in welches Unternehmen Sie "reinschnuppern" möchten. Nehmen Sie sich daher ruhig Zeit, darüber nachzudenken, bei welchem Unternehmen Sie (erste) Berufserfahrungen sammeln möchten (Wie gut passt die Arbeit zu Ihren Studienschwerpunkten? Wo möchten Sie zukünftig arbeiten? Erweitert die Tätigkeit Ihren fachlichen Horizont?). Wir möchten Sie auch dazu ermutigen die "Extra Meile" zu gehen und eine Praxistätigkeit bzw. ein Praktikum im Ausland anzustreben. Dies bietet eine hervorragende Chance ein Ausrufezeichen in Ihrem Lebenslauf zu setzen. Lassen Sie daher nicht administrative Hürden Ihre Entscheidung beeinflussen und denken Sie auch daran, dass es sehr viele Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten gibt.

Course content

The internship does not only represent an important component of your curriculumbut it is also crucial for your future career. Service aspects can be found in nearly all firms providing you with much flexibility where to work. We, therefore, encourage you to think carefully about which firm you will decide for (What fits good to your profile? Where do you like to go in the future? Does the internship complement or deepen your study expertise?). We also strongly encourage you to go the "extra mile" and find an internship abroad. It provides you with a unique qualification; and great experiences as well. Finally, please also consider that there are a lot of funding possibilites. So, do not let administrative issues get in your way.
