Intended learning outcomes
This seminar aims to give the students the opportunity to experience working in a scientific project on socio-hydrology in Spain.
Teaching methodology
In this proseminar students applies the methods learnt in LV 320.212 (the E-DPSIR model, the Pluralistic water research model and the use of system dynamics). One week of field work in La Gomera island (Spain) in February 2021 will be the real scenario where to apply those methods. There will be a guided excursion in La Gomera, presentations by the students and the possibility to interview the authorities of the National Park and water council to acquire the needed data for the seminar work. This will be done hand to hand with the lecturer.

Presentation by the students in La Gomera is related to the topic of the seminar work.
Main focus of the seminar work can be chosen among physical and human aspects of water realted problems in the island. The aim is to be able to design an E-DPSIR model and a system dynamic model based on the frame of a pluralistic water approach after conducting a thorough literature review and data collection in La Gomera.

Presentation by the students in La Gomera (25%).
Seminar work (75%).
