Intended learning outcomes
This course aims to develop students’ communication and language skills in order to plan and deliver an effective business presentation. Presentations will be based on topics found in the readings of Business Writing Course and students’ business writing skills acquired in English.Students will be taken systematically through the key stages of giving presentations, from planning and introducing to concluding and handling questions. Finally, students will experience not only how to give an effective presentation, but also how to become an effective listener.
When you have completed this course, you will be able to:
Describe oral presentation types expected in business contexts.
Explain the roles and responsibilities associated with different presentation types.
Create effective business presentations for diverse audiences.
Use various movement techniques and visual aids to enhance presentation delivery.
Apply various strategies to overcome common communication barriers.

- Methods to deal with nervousness.
