Intendierte Lernergebnisse
The seminar is structured as a common working seminar which shall foster and strengthening the competences of bachelor and master students with sound academic knowledge and focus to understand the important issues of migration and migration entrepreneurship. At the end of this seminar, students should be able to understand the nature of migration, develop a critical understanding of international migrants’ issues, advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of migrant entrepreneurship and develop skills in sourcing and using relevant data to present information in an effective and valuable manner.

Inhalt/e
The course covers the following topics: migration trends, theories, sociology of migration, political science and migration, cultural geography and migration, economics and migration, migration entrepreneurship phenomenon, drivers of immigrant entrepreneurship, moderators of the immigration-entrepreneurship, consequences of immigrant entrepreneurship and Economic effects for the overall society.
