Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

Basics in Media Economics, Policy and Management

As the title suggests this course aims at giving students a first insight into the world of media. Further, it should provide students with a solid foundation for their studies and future research.

Students are very welcome to state their own ideas and opinions on the various topics discussed in class. Certain issues will be compiled during group work.

If manageable there will be a guest lecture about the Austrian Media Landscape or a similar topic, which provides students with greater insight about the Austrian Media Market and poses as a perfect opportunity to ask questions.
