Intended learning outcomes

Attendance at the kick-off session on 5th of October is desired/compulsory. Applicants must inform me in advance per email if they cannot attendthe first or any session at S1doheny@edu.aau.at

The aim of this course is to provide students with an overview of various forms of prose,poetry and drama, as well as introducing students to the notion of technical analysis. Students will become familiar with terminology and the historical development of English literature.

We shall also become handy with the tools to interpret and analyze texts. Students will be given a forum in which to develop their presentation skills, as each student will present a 15-20min Powerpoint on relevant topic.

Please be aware that I will often use the full 2hrs from 4pm to 6pm to accomadate presentations and workshops...
