Course Information

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

Group discussions
Presentations (each participant has to give a 15 min. presentation on a literary topic)
1 mid-term exam, 1 final exam
3 written assignments (each 400 words)
1 PS paper (1000 words)

Course content

This introductory course is going to cover three important aspects in literature: 1) fiction 2) poetry 3) drama. The first attendance on October 8th is mandatory, thus, only students who will attend the first session will be accepted.

The course will provide an overview of these three topics which are relevant for the further studies of English.

Due to Corona and the regulations there have to be formed several groups of max. 6 people per group. Students will be informed about group formations in the first week of October. Moreover, the course will take place 2/3 in-class and 1/3 online. Further information will be revealed on October 8th.
