| Beschreibung: | The research project “Lernen zwischen Flucht und Ankunft. Fragestellungen des inklusiven und sozialen Lernens für asyl- und migrationsbezogene Unterrichtsgestaltung und LehrerInnen-Bildung“ deals with the topic of Inclusive Education for young refugees based on a school experiment at a Higher School in Klagenfurt called WIMO (Höhere Lehranstalt für Wirtschaft und Mode). The project mainly concerns itself as to how education and learning can be socially inclusive and empowering for the students, who are young refugees from various countries. How can the students have a voice and be recognized in their (learning) experiences? “Wimo goes Rap”- created during the project, gave students the possibility to raise their voice and talk about their experiences in form of a rap. What do the students have to say about their host country, environment and learning experiences? Through performative methods, the voices of students can be raised and recognized. Rap can provide a space for students to express themselves more freely, emotionally and bodily and it provides a chance to get their opinions and feelings heard and seen by students and teachers. This in itself might already be an empowering and inclusive experience for students. The research project is based on narrative oriented interviews with students and teachers and co-experienced observations- phenomenological oriented vignette, which are concentrated descriptions of scenes/situations based on lived experiences. |
