| Beschreibung: | Reflections after one year “Unesco Chair on Global Citizenship Education - Culture of Diversity and Peace: The paper takes up two storylines on Global Citizenship Education to bring them together at the end in a critical and perspective-oriented analysis: On the one hand scientific pedagogical approaches, which understand learning and education in a global responsibility, on the other hand political guidelines of international organizations (UNO, UNESCO, EU) for taking education into the obligation to master the large challenges of the 21 Century. In a differentiation from globetrotter romanticism and political marketing, the article explores the limits and potentials of global citizenship education in nationally framed orders. |
