Title: Hip-Hop in Teaching. Arts-based practices and their postmigrant and solidary potential
Description:

In the lecture we will discuss our teaching concept as well as selected results of the students’ rap texts. The individual rap texts show privileges as well as discrimination and suffering experiences of young people in the Alps-Adriatic region, youthful coping and shaping strategies as well as social interventions with the aim of creating inclusion and solidarity in a world permeated by social inequalities. In our lecture, we consider the young people as impulse givers (Hill, 2014), who critically and reflexively deal with the major issues of our time and, in the form of their rap texts, develop creative ideas and knowledge for a more inclusive coexistence in the post-migrant society.
