| Beschreibung: | How is (forced) migration addressed and represented in the media? What kind of images and discourses dominate media coverage of people fleeing war and their unbearable living conditions? What is missing in these media representations? In which ways does peace journalism approach (forced) migration? How is (forced) migration taken up in (fictional) literature? Does (fictional) literature offer a deeper and broader understanding of the experiences of (forced) migration? These are some of the key questions discussed in four parallel roundtables organized by students. Discussion inputs will come from Tanja Thomas, Steven Youngblood, students and MORE-students. |
