Research Workshop "Advanced Demand Modeling for Electromobility"

The electrification of the transport system is a key factor for reducing CO2 emissions to a level that is compatible with climate stabilization. This 1.5-day workshop aims at advancing the discussion on the transition from fuel-based mobility to e-mobility from a demand modelling perspective. By bringing together different disciplines (transport planning, transport economics, energy economics, psychology, management, engineering) and modelling approaches (micro, meso, macro), the workshop should yield new insights and identify synergies between the participants. An essential part of the workshop is to translate these insights and synergies into concrete initiatives for future research collaborations.
