| Kurzfassung: | Entrepreneurial identity aspiration refers to the desire to occupy an entrepreneurial role in the future and is an important impetus for engaging in entrepreneurial activities. This article investigates the antecedents of entrepreneurial identity aspiration of non-entrepreneurs to elucidate, which individual attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors render the prototypical role “entrepreneur” more meaningful and important for individuals. Based on a quantitative study among college students, we provide new insights on the antecedents of entrepreneurial identity aspiration contributing to research on entrepreneurial identity and motivation. |
