Description:

The DFG Scientific Network “Anthropology and China(s): Co-Constructions of Ethnographic and Academic Regions” aims at establishing the anthropology of China as a reflexive, pluralist, and relational project in the German-speaking academic world. From 2021 to 2024, the network convenes six conferences to explore the relations of anthropologies of China in different academic regions with area studies, politics and general anthropology.
