Description: | Research on the topic of "Digital Media, Health & Well-Being" explores the impact of different forms of digital media usage on both individual and collective physical and mental health. This includes investigating the role of social media, smartphone apps, gaming, and other digital technologies on health outcomes such as body image, self-esteem & life-satisfaction, eating behaviors/intentions, and exercising. In addition, our research explores the potential benefits and drawbacks of using digital media for health communication campaigns, health education, promotion, and healthcare delivery. Organizational health and health promotion in the workplace present an additional focus. |
